Students from the Department of Economics, Jagannath Barooah University undertook their internship program as part of their course requirements, engaging in diverse industrial and institutional activities to gain practical exposure beyond classroom learning.
The internship provided students with firsthand experience in various sectors — including bakeries, healthcare institutions, and cooperative societies — where they observed and learned about production processes, management practices, labor organization, and financial operations.
Through these engagements, students developed a deeper understanding of industrial functioning, economic linkages, and workplace dynamics, enriching their analytical and professional skills for future academic and career pursuits.
