The seminar brought together students and scholars from various departments, encouraging academic exchange and discussions on India’s intellectual traditions and future development.

Students from different disciplines presented research papers on diverse topics, reflecting both traditional knowledge systems and contemporary perspectives. The seminar provided an enriching platform for young researchers to showcase their analytical and presentation skills.

A group of 6th semester students from the Department of Sociology, namely Joon Sahu, Ritisha Saikia, Namrita Paul and Mitesha Kasyap Dutta presented a research paper on the topic ‘From Tradition to Modernity: Hygiene, Culture and Generational Change in Indian Knowledge Syatem’ and achieved notable success at the event. They secured the paper presenter award, earning appreciation from the judges for the quality of research, clarity of ideas, and relevance to the seminar’s theme.
