| The Department of Sociology was established in 2016 in this esteem institution, Jagannath Barooah College(Autonomous). Honours classes were started from 2019. The Department has presently three faculty members. The department is dedicated toward creating competent and socially sensitive graduates through rigorous teaching programmes. The department provides an excellent opportunity for interaction among students coming from diverse background. |
