Chemical Society, Department of Chemistry, J. B. College, in collaboration with Jal Jeevan Mission, PHED, Assam, organized a Safe Drinking Water Awareness and Testing Camp in the Department of Chemistry on 12th March 2025. Mr. Deepak Buragohain and Ms. Kumari Bishakha from PHED demonstrated the safety margin of hardness, salinity, turbidity, and seven other important parameters associated with safe drinking water. After the camp was completed, Mrs. Burgohain gifted a water testing kit to the HoD, Department of Chemistry.
