Chemical Society, Department of Chemistry in association with ECO Club JB College celebrated International Day for Preservation of Ozone Layer on 16th September 2024. As part of the celebration, a popular Scientific talk on the preservation of ozone layer was organized. Dr. Prasanata J. Gautam, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, Assam Kaziranga University graced the program as the resource person. Dr. Jayashree Nath, Coordinator of the ECO Club, JB College hosted the program and started with the Resource person's facilitation. Dr. Nurul Amin, Vice Principal, Dr. Gautam Kalita, Academic Vice Principal (Science) was present in the program. Dr. Gautam also participated in a student interaction program on various National-level competitive examinations and career opportunities for Chemistry students.
