Department of Chemistry, Jagannath Barooah University is going to offer Ph.D. course from the academic session 2026-27. Candidates must clear an entrance test followed by a personal interview to get enrolled into Ph.D. course. Details of the test and available position for Ph.D. course will be notified on the university website.
The department from the current academic session offers Post Graduate Program in Chemistry.

Department of Chemistry currently offers Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP) under NEP-2020.
The following courses are offered under the Undergraduate progrmmme:
Candidates seeking admission into Major Courses in Chemistry under FYUGP- must apply for Chemistry Major Selection Test (CMSET)
Eligibility and merit list preparation for admission into undergraduate program will be based on the following criteria:
