Lalsanlevis Nampui joined as an Assistant Professor in the department of English on 1st February, 2012. Her research interests are Indian Writings in English, short stories and Cultural Studies and her research papers have appeared in journals. She is an active member of J B College ECO Club and has coordinated 9 Days Workshop cum Skill Development Training Programme on Mushroom Cultivation and Agarbatti Production in collaboration with J B College Career Counselling Cell and Rain Forest Research Institute, Jorhat in August,  2022. She acted as the Chief Coordinator of a National Seminar on "Environmental Protection, Conservation and Sustainability"(Hybrid Mode) on 16th March, 2023. Recently, she has co-edited a bilingual book on "Environmental Ecology, Biodiversity and Sustainability" published by Mohan Chandra Mahanta Adhyayan Gobesona Kendra( A Social Science Research Centre in collaboration with Cinnamara College), Jorhat in November, 2023 (ISBN 978-939512434-8).
