4. Senior gynaecologist of Jorhat Dr. Amal Phukan was invited to deliver a lecture on “The Health of Women after Menopause” on 14th May, 2013.

5. An on-the-spot poster making competition was held among the J.B.College students on 8th August 2013.

6. An awareness meeting was organized on withch hunting in collaboration with NGO Mission Birubala in which the crusader Birubala Rabha spoke on Withch Hunting in Assam on 28th February, 2014.

7. Visited the Women inmates ogf the Jorhat Jail and presented cotton  yarns  to them to weave gamosas and table clothes.

8. A month long Spoken English Course was organized for the student community which was inaugurated on 11th March, 2014.

9. Jorhat District Chorus Competition was held in which ten teams participated on 13th May, 2014.

10. A workshop on Mushroom Cultivation Was held for the women members of the self help groups from different areas of jorhat in which Dr. Ajit bordoloi from NEIST acted as the resource person on 13th august, 2014.

11. A Self Defence Techniques for girl students of J.B.college was organized from 9th September to 29th September, 20145 in the college auditorium.

12. Children’s Day was observed in the Creche-cum –Day Care Center, J.B. College on 14th14th November, 2014.

13. Visited the Jorhat Jail to donate clothing contributed by the JBCWC members on 20th March 2015.

As the Joint coordinator of J.B. College Film Society she organized a talk programme on “Film Making and Script Writing” delivered by Ms. Anwesha Kotoky, Associate Director and Supervisor in the Indian Film Industry on 9th February, 2023. She also organized a screening of the film Nightmares and Dreamscapes along with a Film Review Competition on 30th October, 2023 for the students of J.B. College.

 Under the aegis of the IQAC, J.B. College, she successfully organized a three month Certificate Course from 17 March, 2023 onwards on Indian classical dance and folk dance. The instructor of the course Ms. Priyam Baruah diligently taught the enrolled students and completed it.

 She participated in the National Level E quiz on World Poetry Day organized by Dept of English, PPG College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore on 21 March, 2023 and secured 87% marks.

 Her article titled “Crossing Over: A Brief Review” has been published in Prabah, 2nd Issue, April-May-June, 2023.
