1. Extended help as Guest Teacher, taking 2 classes on English Grammar at Tarajan High School for Class X students (to help them prepare for Board Examinations) on 28 and 30 May, 2015
2. As secretary of the J.B. College Women Cell the following activities were carried on for the welfare of women and children in the society:
3. Visited the Orphanage-cum-Destitute-Home Nirmal Hriday at Baghchung , Jorhat and donated food stuff and clothing to mark the International Women’s Day on 8th March, 2013.
4. Senior gynaecologist of Jorhat Dr. Amal Phukan was invited to deliver a lecture on “The Health of Women after Menopause” on 14th May, 2013.
5. An on-the-spot poster making competition was held among the J.B.College students on 8th August 2013.
6. An awareness meeting was organized on withch hunting in collaboration with NGO Mission Birubala in which the crusader Birubala Rabha spoke on Withch Hunting in Assam on 28th February, 2014.
7. Visited the Women inmates ogf the Jorhat Jail and presented cotton yarns to them to weave gamosas and table clothes.
8. A month long Spoken English Course was organized for the student community which was inaugurated on 11th March, 2014.
9. Jorhat District Chorus Competition was held in which ten teams participated on 13th May, 2014.
10. A workshop on Mushroom Cultivation Was held for the women members of the self help groups from different areas of jorhat in which Dr. Ajit bordoloi from NEIST acted as the resource person on 13th august, 2014.
11. A Self Defence Techniques for girl students of J.B.college was organized from 9th September to 29th September, 20145 in the college auditorium.
12. Children’s Day was observed in the Creche-cum –Day Care Center, J.B. College on 14th14th November, 2014.
13. Visited the Jorhat Jail to donate clothing contributed by the JBCWC members on 20th March 2015.
14. Organized several film promotions in the college campus from 2018 to 2022.

22. Helped students to make a documentary film on The Making of a Theatre from the J.B.College Film Society in 2022.
As the Joint coordinator of J.B. College Film Society she organized a talk programme on “Film Making and Script Writing” delivered by Ms. Anwesha Kotoky, Associate Director and Supervisor in the Indian Film Industry on 9th February, 2023. She also organized a screening of the film Nightmares and Dreamscapes along with a Film Review Competition on 30th October, 2023 for the students of J.B. College.
Under the aegis of the IQAC, J.B. College, she successfully organized a three month Certificate Course from 17 March, 2023 onwards on Indian classical dance and folk dance. The instructor of the course Ms. Priyam Baruah diligently taught the enrolled students and completed it.
She participated in the National Level E quiz on World Poetry Day organized by Dept of English, PPG College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore on 21 March, 2023 and secured 87% marks.
Her article titled “Crossing Over: A Brief Review” has been published in Prabah, 2nd Issue, April-May-June, 2023.
Her paper titled “Question on Women’s Authorship in Select Assamese Ballads: A Study” published in Writings from North East India Trends and Issues, edited by Dr. Rashmi Saikia, April, 2023.
She participated in the Skill Development Program on “Soft Skills through Stories” organized by the Dept of English and Other Foreign Languages, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai on 11 May, 2023.
She presented a paper titled Violence in Select Literary Narratives of Partition in the 2 Days International Multidisciplinary Conference on “Representation of violence in Literature and Media” organized by Reva University, Bengaluru in collaboration with Liverpool John Moores University on 30th and 31st May, 2023.
She participated and successfully completed the UGC-Approved Short-Term Professional Development Programme on Implementation of NEP-2020 for University and College Teachers held from 12-20 June, 2023 and obtained A+ Grade.
Certificate of achievement has been awarded to her for participating and winning the poem writing and recitation competition Ek Shaam Kavita ke Naam organized by New Age Leadership Success (NALS) on 26 August,2023.
She Participated in the Online International FDP Programme on “Pedagogy in English” organized by ENGlang Skills Training Academy, Asia (ELSTA), (Registered under MSME Govt. of India) from 23.12.23 to 30.12.23.
She acted as the Joint Coordinator of the National Workshop on Augmentation of Skills for Multidisciplinary Research organized by the J.B.College Women Cell and J.B.College Research and Development Cell from 19.01.24 to 25.01.24.
