- All students admitted into J.B. College are members of the college library under the library fees they pay along with the tuition fees.
- Every student using the college library will be provided a barcode enable library card. It is mandatory to bring a library card along with them while visiting the library and issue books. The library card is not transferable in any form.
- The borrower is responsible for the book borrowed. Books are issued for 15 days with a provision for renewal of another 15 days.
- The librarian may recall a book at any time in case of urgency.
- The loss of the Library card should be immediately reported to the circulation section in writing & duplicate card will be made only after approval by the authorities and necessary payment made.
- A sum of Rs. 1.00 (one) per book per day will be charged for an overdue book.
- Final-year students must return their library books before getting admit cards for the final examination & other students must return their library books before the form fill-up.
- Books once issued will not be allowed to keep inside the library.
- Carrying bags, personal books, and food items are strictly prohibited & accessories will be kept in the Lockers placed in the library entrance. Mobile phones must be in silent mode before entering the library.
- Few activities like group discussions and project works are allowed inside the library only after taking permission from the library authority from 2:30 p.m. onwards.
