On 20th October, 2021, Geological Survey of India, NER, Shillong, presented a batch of rock hand specimens to the Department of Geology, J. B. College (Autonomous) in the presence of Principal Dr. Bimal Barah, as a part of the academia interaction program and commemoration of 75 years of independence of Government of India through the “Bharat ka Amrut Mahotsava” with a theme of “Atmanirbhar Bharat”.
