The Department offers UG courses for a total of 25 students each year under the CBCS system.
The Department offers PG courses for a total of 32 students each year under the CBCS system. This is a purely self financed course.
It was the first PG Department of Geography under DIBRUGARH UNIVERSITY. Currently it is under the Autonomous College regime of the College with an independent syllabus which is modelled on UGC model syllabus.
The Research centre at the Department currently is serving 6 research scholars, under the PhD guideship of Dr Minakshi Phookan Hazarika.
