Welcome - Department of Philosophy
The Department of Philosophy was established in 1930 along with the establishment of the College. It offers H.S. Course (Logic and Philosophy), B.A. Honours Course in Philosophy and M.A. Course in Philosophy. It has a recognised Research Study Centre under the aegis of Dibrugarh University. Scholars obtaining Ph.D. Degree from this department are serving in different colleges of Assam. Some others are working on their research projects for the degree of Ph.D. The department has a team of dedicated, energetic and enthusiastic faculties who are always willing to guide and encourage the students.
