  • Awarded PhD degree from Gauhati University in 2013 in the topic entitled ‘Production of biosurfactant by Pseudomonas aeruginosa RS29 isolated from crude oil contaminated soil of upper Assam and its application in recovery of hydrocarbon from refinery sludge.
  • Achieved Woman Scientist-A project under DST Women Scientist Scheme in the topic ‘Virulence factors and antibiotic resistance profiles of biosurfactant producing strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa’.
  • Got through CSIR SRF in 2012.
  • Cleared CSIR-UGC NET (LS) in 2004 in the subject Life Sciences
  • Cleared SLET in 2003 in the subject Life Sciences
