Hello, I am Dr. Pankaj Kakati, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Jagannath Barooah College (Autonomous) situated in Jorhat, Assam, India. I embarked on my journey as an Assistant Professor at this esteemed institution on the 12th of November 2009.
My research interests are Decision Science, Multi-criteria Decision Making, and Cryptography & Network Security.
Within the academic sphere, I am committed to sharing knowledge, fostering critical thinking, and nurturing a passion for mathematics among students. Engaging in scholarly activities and contributing to the advancement of mathematical understanding are facets of my academic journey that continually energize and inspire me.
Beyond my research activities, I actively contribute as a reviewer for several esteemed journals indexed in SCI, Web of Science (WoS), and Scopus, published by eminent publishers such as Springer, Elsevier, and IEEE Journals. Additionally, I am honored to serve as an Advisory Board member for the prestigious Elsevier journal, Heliyon.
