As part of an International Student Exchange programme, Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, USA selected six students from Department of Geology, Jagannath Barooah University, Jorhat, Assam. The programmes focuses on developing a research exchange for students in Northeast India to learn the use of Fission Track Thermochronology and Raman Spectroscopy.
