Dr. Minakshi Phookan Hazarika, Associate Professor, Department of Geography, J.B. College (Autonomous), has supervised Ms. Krishnakhi Saikia, Centre for Studies in Geography, Dibrugarh University, in the completion of the 'Doctor of Philosophy' (Ph.D.) from Dibrugarh University for her doctoral research on "Pattern of Women’s Empowerment and Its Impact on Their Health: A Case Study of Jorhat District, Assam".
