About the Workshop

The primary purpose of this workshop is to train and improve the microscopy skill set of young researchers who have a basic understanding of microscopy and plan to apply advanced microscopy techniques in their future research. The workshop aims to provide comprehensive knowledge in both theory and practical hands-on usage of the advanced laser-based microscopy techniques and their application in imaging different materials, including semiconductor and biological samples.

Topics Covered

The workshop will cover topics ranging from basic concepts in microscopy such as wide-field, confocal, super-resolution microscopy, and image processing and analysis techniques. In addition, participants will be exposed to advanced techniques such as optical beam induced current microscopy (OBIC), electroluminescence (EL) microscopy, etc.
