The Geological Forum of the Department of Geology, J.B. College (Autonomous) have organised student interaction programme on October 6th and 7th, 2023 at the Conference Hall-1 of Jagannath Barooah College (Autonomous), Jorhat. On 6th October, at 11 AM, Mr. Amborish Hazarika (an alumni of the department), presently working as Junior-Geologist, GWRDC - Gujarat Water Resources Development Corporation, share his experience and present-day scenario of geological scopes, challenges with the students.

On 7th October, at 11 AM, Ms. Meghna Kaushik, Career Counsellor and Soft Skill Trainer, briefly highlighted the various carrier opportunities of soft skills and how to develop soft skill were discussed.
